Tiendor

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tiendor handles personal information when you visit tiendor.com, contact us, or place an order. Tiendor is operated by ZUKOVS ALEKSEJS, Entrepreneur individuel (EI), established in France. This business is the controller of personal information handled for the store.

Information we handle

  • Order and delivery information: your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, telephone number where provided, ordered items, and order history.
  • Payment-related information: payment status, transaction references, refund information, and details needed to reconcile an order. The payment service selected at checkout processes the information required for that payment method under its own privacy terms.
  • Customer service information: messages, return and exchange requests, and any information or images you choose to send us about an order.
  • Account information, if you create an account: the information you submit, login details, and saved account preferences.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, site requests, security logs, and information needed for shopping cart, checkout, and session functions.

We receive information from you, from your interaction with the website, and from services handling payment or delivery updates. Fields required to fulfill an order are identified during checkout. If essential order or address information is not provided, we may be unable to accept, fulfill, or support the order. Please do not email full payment card numbers, card security codes, or account passwords.

Why we use information

Purpose Basis for processing
Accepting orders, arranging payment and delivery, and handling returns, exchanges, and order questions Taking steps at your request and performing our contract with you
Keeping accounting and transaction records and responding to legal requests Compliance with legal obligations
Protecting the store against misuse, investigating payment or delivery issues, and maintaining reliable website operations Our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business, balanced against your rights
Optional marketing communications or optional tracking requiring permission Your consent where required; you may withdraw it

Who may receive information

Access is limited to the people and services that need information for the relevant purpose. These categories include website hosting and technical support providers, payment services, shipping and return carriers, email and customer service providers, and professional advisers such as accountants. Hostinger provides website hosting, and the store uses WordPress and WooCommerce software.

Service providers receive information relevant to the work they perform. We may also disclose information where a legal obligation requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. A service provider may also be an independent controller for processing it determines, such as a payment provider’s own fraud or regulatory checks.

International handling of information

Tiendor is based in France and serves customers in the United States. Order, delivery, and service information may therefore be handled in more than one country, including France, the United States, and countries where our service providers operate. Where a transfer is subject to European data protection transfer rules, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as approved contractual clauses, are required. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

How long information is kept

We keep information for the time needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, meet legal requirements, handle returns and disputes, and protect legal rights. Accounting records and supporting transaction documents are generally retained for 10 years from the close of the relevant financial year under French recordkeeping rules. This does not mean every browsing record or support message is kept for 10 years.

Other retention periods depend on whether an order, account, customer service matter, security issue, or claim remains active and whether a legal obligation requires continued retention. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized, subject to the normal lifecycle of backups and any required legal hold.

Cookies and similar technologies

The store uses cookies and similar storage needed for functions such as remembering a cart, maintaining a checkout session, and supporting account login where used. Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if introduced, are subject to the permissions required by applicable law. Our Cookie Policy explains these technologies and browser controls.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy of information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

To exercise a right, email support@tiendor.com or write to our business address. Explain your request and the email address associated with your interaction with us. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity; we will not request more than is needed for that purpose. Some records may need to be retained to comply with law or resolve claims.

We respond without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law. For requests subject to the GDPR, this is normally one month. If a permitted extension is necessary, we will explain it within that initial period. You may complain to the French data protection authority, CNIL, or another competent authority.

U.S. state privacy rights may apply depending on your residence and whether the business is subject to that state’s law. Where applicable, these may include access, correction, deletion, portability, appeal, and choices regarding certain uses or disclosures. Send requests to the same contact details above; we will explain the applicable process and any available appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Security and information about children

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures suited to the information and services involved. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Tell us if you believe information associated with your account or order has been compromised.

The store is intended for adults placing orders. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address it.

Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our store or legal obligations. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
